Events and get-togethers
What are Events?
Events give members the chance to meet each other in person and enjoy the company of other singles. We organise nights out, socials, and much more! There is something for everyone.
- Attend one of our nights and kick back with a cocktail while chatting to lots of other singles.
- We also offer dinners for those who prefer longer conversations in a cosy restaurant.
- Or you can register for one of our socials if you prefer something more fun and relaxed. Take part in cooking lessons, photography lessons, pool or even a walking tour.
We hold lots of events each month in several cities across the UK.
We always strive to ensure our singles meet the right type of people, so members are invited according to their gender, age and where they live.
Make sure your profile is complete! Members who are active on the site, have at least one photo and a personal ad are much more likely to receive an invite.

- Clicking on ‘Events’ on the top menu of the desktop site.
- Using the mobile app and going to ‘Event Invitations’ in the ‘Me’ section.

Do I need a profile to attend Events?
You can see the list of Events by town/city on your desktop without registering. However, you must have a profile with at least one main photo in order to attend, so register and create a profile if you haven’t already done so. You do not need an active subscription, but those who do get special rates.
For certain events, there is also the possibility for attendees to invite up to 3 friends to join them. These friends do not have to be registered members in order to attend.
Where can I find the list of upcoming Events?
View the dates of upcoming Events by clicking on ‘Events’ in the website’s top menu.
This is where you will find all the information about each event, such as:
- type of event and description,
- date and time,
- number of members already signed up,
- location (the exact address will be sent to attendees 48 hours before the event).
Remember to check this section regularly as we hold many events each month in cities across the UK.
Also bear in mind that members who are active on the site and have at least one photo on their profile are more likely to receive an invite.
How do I get invited to an Event?
Our events are tailored to members according to their age and location.
When we have an upcoming event, we will invite you via email, or you can view the “Events” section of the desktop site or the ‘Event Invitations’ section of the app.
How do I see who is attending an event?
We intentionally don’t reveal the list of people attending an upcoming vent. This is to allow relationships to build naturally on the day itself, and to be spontaneous. However, we do show the number of people who have RSVP’d for an event.
We want to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable time and maximise the chance of singles meeting that special someone. We aim for an equal number of men and women (for mixed events). There are also often activities during the event to encourage you to interact with others.
You will, however, be able to see the members who attended a past event on the website.
Why wasn’t I invited to an Event?
Members are invited according to their gender, age and where they live to maximise the chance of meeting their best match.
You must also be active on the site and have at least one photo to ensure you get an invite. Members with a subscription package are also given priority.
Our team of organisers are working hard to increase the number of events and find new locations as much as possible, so keep checking back regularly for more details.

Why aren’t there any events near me?
We hold lots of events each month in several cities across the UK. Don’t worry if there hasn’t been an event yet near you; our team is working hard to create more events so that all of our members can attend, regardless of where they live.
Don’t forget that you can also choose another town or city via the website and see the list of events organised there.
