What encouraged you to sign up to Ourtime?: To see if I could find a man who could love and accept me as I am. I am a full time wheelchair user due to a spinal cord injury when I was 23. I was open about it on my profile and I’m sure that it puts some people off even though I live a normal life.
What were your first impressions of the site? Which aspects gave you the most confidence?: The site was easy to use and setting up a profile didn’t take long.
When did you meet?: We sent messages to each other for about 10 days and then met up and went out for a meal on 22nd June 2024.
What particularly attracted you to him/her?: He is totally accepting of my situation and I felt totally at ease with him right from the start. He’s very generous and he’s a gentleman with a cheeky side.
What are some of the things you enjoy doing together?: Going out for meals, going to the cinema and curling up on the sofa watching movies. We’ve been to the supermarket together too so we are already a close couple. We are very tactile with each other which is wonderful.
And what about your daily lives? Do you live together, or have any plans for the future?: We spend the weekends together at my flat.
