What encouraged you to sign up to Ourtime?: Whilst on holiday in May with my sister, we dined with a couple who had met on Ourtime. They had been married for one year after meeting a year before. They were so happy it inspired me to join the website. It wasn’t long before Ronnie and I found each other and we live in the same town too.
What were your first impressions of the site? Which aspects gave you the most confidence?: Building my profile. The questions asked were a great help in giving me the confidence to portray myself in a true light, things I would never have thought to include in my profile.
When did you meet?: We met within a week of chatting on the site, just one week after I had joined.
What particularly attracted you to him/her?: He was a true gent with a great personality. We were very comfortable in each others company, as if we had known each other for a long time.
What are some of the things you enjoy doing together?: We have so much in common and enjoy many mutual interests. So far we have enjoyed some lovely meals together, an outdoor concert, relaxing in sunshine and planning lots of things for our future together.
And what about your daily lives? Do you live together, or have any plans for the future?: We both work but are planning to retire together, when we will be able to pursue all of our dreams. We don’t live together, but it’s early days.
