What encouraged you to sign up to Ourtime?: Following the ending of my long marriage to my ex, I was looking for companionship more than anything. I spoke to several people through Ourtime, before matching with Richard who amazingly lived 5 minute walk away from me. Nobody was more surprised than me when we met and I realised I had found my soulmate. Fun, laughter and endless love define our relationship and 2 and a half years after we met, we married in July 2023., surrounded by our family and friends.
What were your first impressions of the site? Which aspects gave you the most confidence?: I liked the idea of only meeting people of similar age. Being part of the Match family gave me confidence.
When did you meet?: January 2021.
What particularly attracted you to him/her?: Laughter and his love of my dog.
What are some of the things you enjoy doing together?: Spending time with family, laughing and being silly.
