What encouraged you to sign up to Ourtime?: A) Your TV advertising is pretty spot-on and encouraging. B) I had used Ourtime before and had success in finding a partner (2020 and 2022) C) A special deal for six months persuaded me to try you again.
What were your first impressions of the site? Which aspects gave you the most confidence?: The number of ladies listed, the overall quality of profiles, and the useful search parameters. Previous successes gave me confidence.
When did you meet?: 23rd June 2023.
What particularly attracted you to him/her?: Her smile, her lively nature, her positive attitude, and her being within 20 minutes drive, if I am honest.
What are some of the things you enjoy doing together?: Walking, coffees, lunches, unusual dates and being positive and optimistic! Visiting National Trust sites, and watching Rom-Coms together is a favourite. She has just tried paddleboarding, so we can do that together now.
And what about your daily lives? Do you live together, or have any plans for the future?: We currently live separately, partly because I have two teen daughters for half of the week. However, I am planning to introduce my lovely new partner to them next week. Also, I am going to meet her son this week. We plan to live separately but stay over in each other’s homes for much of the time, while we begin to integrate with other friends and interests because we are both quite self-sufficient and independent. Eventually, once my girls have properly left the nest, we might consider a new home together, but let’s see.
