What encouraged you to sign up to Ourtime?: I’d been single for almost a year after 26 years and some girlfriends signed me up to Ourtime.
What were your first impressions of the site? Which aspects gave you the most confidence?: Easy to navigate and it was nice to see photos and read about other people on the site.
When did you meet?: We messaged for a couple of weeks and he eventually wore me down and I accepted his phone number (he’ll tell you that I knew I was on to a good thing 🤣) We met for a coffee in Lymington one Sunday morning and ended up having lunch, a long walk and lots of laughs. Our date ended over 6 hours later.
What particularly attracted you to him/her?: His sense of humour was really refreshing as I hadn’t had much to smile about in the preceding months.
What are some of the things you enjoy doing together?: Eating out, cooking, travelling & just spending time together. We live 38 miles apart and as we both work we haven’t moved in together yet.
And what about your daily lives? Do you live together, or have any plans for the future?: Next year we are planning on both retiring & Daren has always wanted to buy a place in Spain. So we will keep my apartment in Dorset, sell both his houses in Hampshire, and divide our time between Spain and England.
